"This piece of clothing was made by young women in Tiraque, a small town of 2,000 in Bolivia. 11 years ago the first Sipaskuna began working to create opportunities for thier community. Today they manage their own micro-enterprise and have a cozy storefront on Tiraque's main plaza. Above the door a sign the reads "SIPASKUNA" which in Quechua, the oldest indiginous language in Bolivia, means yound women."
